Last Updated: June 1, 2026

ip86 respects and protects user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when providing IP checking, proxy speed testing, platform compatibility assessment, account services, report sharing, system security, and product improvement.

By using ip86, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

## 1. Information We May Collect

When you use ip86 services, we may collect the following information:

### 1.1 Information You Submit

This includes IP addresses, proxy addresses, proxy protocols, server addresses, ports, selected target platforms, query content, report generation content, and other information you enter when using IP checking, proxy speed testing, platform compatibility assessment, or other tools.

If you use the proxy speed testing feature, the system may temporarily process proxy usernames, passwords, or authentication information. Unless you explicitly choose to save them, we do not actively store proxy usernames or passwords.

### 1.2 Information Collected Automatically

This includes access IP, current public IP, browser type, device information, operating system, language settings, access time, page path, request logs, error logs, basic network information, and test task status.

The system may automatically detect your current public IP when you open the IP checking page and asynchronously generate test results.

### 1.3 Account-Related Information

If you register, log in, or purchase services, we may collect necessary information such as email address, username, login time, plan status, order status, payment status, entitlement records, and operation records.

### 1.4 Testing and Report Information

This includes IP profiles, ASN information, geolocation references, risk labels, proxy speed, platform access performance, speed test results, test time, test nodes, report screenshots, and share links.

## 2. How We Use Information

We may use the collected information for the following purposes:

1. To provide core functions such as IP checking, proxy speed testing, and platform compatibility assessment; 2. To automatically detect the current public IP and generate test results; 3. To parse proxy information and perform connectivity, speed, stability, and platform access performance tests; 4. To generate IP profiles, risk labels, platform compatibility results, and test reports; 5. To maintain account login, plan benefits, order records, and user preferences; 6. To prevent abuse, attacks, abnormal requests, fraud, and other security risks; 7. To troubleshoot issues, analyze service stability, improve page experience, and enhance test accuracy; 8. To comply with laws, regulations, regulatory requirements, or dispute resolution obligations.

## 3. Proxy Usernames and Passwords

During proxy speed testing, you may enter proxy usernames, passwords, or authentication information.

Unless you explicitly choose to save them, we do not actively store proxy usernames or passwords. Such information is used by default only to complete the current test task and is not used for other purposes after the task ends.

Please do not submit proxy resources, server resources, or sensitive access credentials that do not belong to you or that you are not authorized to use.

## 4. Cookies and Local Storage

ip86 may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to maintain login status, save language settings, remember basic preferences, analyze access performance, prevent abuse, and improve user experience.

You may restrict or clear cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work properly as a result.

## 5. Data Retention

We retain necessary information based on service needs, legal requirements, security audits, and product operation needs.

Test logs, request logs, error logs, security logs, account records, and order records may be retained for a reasonable period for troubleshooting, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, and service improvement.

When information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or aggregate it.

## 6. Information Sharing

We do not sell users’ personal information.

We may share necessary information in the following circumstances:

1. To complete testing tasks using servers, network nodes, third-party data sources, or infrastructure services; 2. To support payment, login, security verification, cloud services, data storage, log analysis, and related functions through service providers; 3. When required by laws, regulations, judicial authorities, regulators, or lawful requests; 4. To protect the legitimate rights and interests of ip86, users, or the public, and to prevent fraud, abuse, or security risks.

We require service providers to process information only as necessary and to apply reasonable safeguards.

## 7. Third-Party Services

ip86 may integrate third-party cloud services, data sources, payment services, security services, analytics services, customer support tools, or email services.

If Google Analytics, Cloudflare, Stripe, Alipay, WeChat Pay, email services, customer support plugins, or other third-party services are actually used, the specific service provider names and purposes should be added to this Policy.

## 8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information, including access control, permission isolation, log auditing, transmission encryption, sensitive information protection, and security monitoring.

However, no internet transmission or storage method can be absolutely secure. You should also properly protect your account, password, proxy information, and access credentials.

## 9. User Rights

To the extent permitted by applicable laws, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of personal information associated with your account.

If you wish to delete your account or related data, you may contact us to submit a request. We will process it within a reasonable time, except where retention is required for legal, security, audit, order, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes.

## 10. Use by Minors

ip86 is intended for users and business users with independent judgment and is not actively directed to minors.

If you are a minor, please use the service under the guidance of a guardian.

## 11. Cross-Border Processing

Because servers, network nodes, data sources, and service providers may be located in different countries or regions, your information may be processed outside your region.

We will take reasonable measures to protect such information and process cross-border data in accordance with applicable laws.

## 12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy based on product features, business adjustments, legal or regulatory changes, or security requirements.

The updated Policy will take effect once published on the website. Your continued use of ip86 services indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
